The last Saturday of each month is the club Steel Challenge shoot. Participants are timed for five passes at each of five different stages. Each stage consists of four white steel plates and one red stop plate. A non magnum semi automatic handgun or a revolver is needed and a holster is not necessary.

Shooting begins at nine and runs till noon. Participants are asked to arrive no later than 8:45 for a safety briefing and explanation of the rules.

There is a $5 fee.
