About

hbcrgc-clubhouseThe Hope BC Rod & Gun Club is a non-profit registered society, nestled in the beautiful mountains of Hope, British Columbia.

Open year-round, the club offers a protected outdoor rifle enclosure with shoot-tables suitable for both left and right-handed shooters, and range shooting distances up to 100 meters. The outdoor enclosure has electricity and provides excellent coverage from inclement weather and extra space for spectators to sit and observe.

The clubhouse hosts monthly meetings and club events, with an ample common room, full kitchen and washroom facilities. The clubhouse also has the potential space to incorporate an indoor archery range. Much of the maintenance and care of the clubhouse and grounds are performed by the members, who take great pride in keeping the club clean and safe.

Accessibility to the clubhouse and range require member security access; however there is a large public parking area around the clubhouse. Members have the added ability to bring vehicles up to the rifle enclosure, should equipment and/or accessibility be problematic for participants or observers.

With this in mind, the club is ‘all-inclusive’ where children, spouses, families and friends of all skills and abilities are always welcome. The club also supports local students in their future endeavours by providing graduation bursaries and participates in the annual World Rivers Day, picking up garbage and debris along the banks of the Fraser and Coquihalla Rivers.

Our members are very involved in many activities throughout the year, whether it is building railings at local parks, or building new targets for the club; we are proud of the talent and dedication our members put forward to help make Hope’s Rod & Gun Club one of the best.
